Description of the movie

Bhediya is a Tamil horror thriller movie. This movie was directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon and produced by SSN Thirukumaran under his banner Global Infotainment. Lyrics are written by Muthu Vijay, Joshua Sridhar, and Vivek while music is composed by Amar Mohile. The lead roles are played by Dhruv Vikram, Aravind Akash, and Abhimanyu Singh in their debuts as well as Malavika Nair in her debut in Tollywood Industry. Actor Rana Daggubati has appeared in a guest role.

Movie Synopsis

The story of Balachandra (Balu), an orphan, who lives in a colony with his widowed mother and runs a tea stall. His only aim is to marry Poornima and lead a happy life. During his visit to a prostitute named Nagamma, he meets Mysuru Rani (Rani), who is mistreated by her mother-in-law Kanakamba. Balu decides to help Mysuru get rid of Kanakamba and suggests that she turn into a sex worker for money; she agrees but maintains that she is not doing it for him.

The director of Bhediya, Waseem Rajouri is a relatively new filmmaker. He has only helmed one other film prior to Bhediya, though he has made his mark with several award-winning short films and documentaries in his native India. As far as writers go, there's no information available on Madan Mohan Agarwal, though many seem to praise his work on Bhediya. Both of these men are newbies when it comes to filmmaking in Hollywood, but they're proving their worth with Bhediya. This is an excellent first outing for them; I'm looking forward to seeing what else they'll bring us in the future!

One of the top producers’ films Deshdrohi was not a hit at the box office. Raavanan, another movie produced by the same producer didn’t do well too. So when his new movie is released next year it might not be a big hit too. But if any of the stars take part in the promotion and likes the script then it might break records at the box office.

Conclusion – my recommendation, should you watch this movie?

You know what? Don’t watch it. It’s really really bad and looks like something a teenager would make in their garage with a $15 webcam, some beats they found on YouTube, and all their friends' favorite memes. I was watching it not expecting much at all to be honest. And then I got angry at how bad it was. The sound quality is horrendous and half of them are out of sync so you can’t even use that as your crutch for why you didn’t enjoy it—not that any other reason would make sense given how...how...terrible everything about it is.
